So, in this new year, I hope it will be easier to get things done. I hope I can settle in to a routine now. Then maybe I can accomplish some things from day to day. Right now I am trying to unbury myself from all the clutter and unfinished tasks. I have a list of things I need to get done right away.
In the past few days I have:
- taken down the Christmas tree,
- removed my old makeshift office desk from my office
- replaced it with a nice new desk given to me by the retirement home when it closed last week.
- brought my old swivel chair back into the office because the chair I was using isn't gonna cut it,
- got half way through assembling my new workout gear.
- cleared out the center of my garage so that I can walk through it.
- burnt all the empty boxes that accumulated out there and in other places around the house.
Between now and next Sunday I want to
- Move all my exercise equipment into the small front room of the house
- Go through all my closets and storage areas and inventory all my bits and bobs
- Purge what is of no use.
- Vist UPS store
- Send off paperwork that is needed for the reinstatement of my corporate charter.
- Get a refill on one of my meds.
It is a small list for the coming week but that is the speed at which I live. Also take into consideration that I do still work from home and this week I plan to work about 30 hours. But the weather outside is supposed to be unseasonably warm for about a week. So we will see.
